The Pawn: On Public Health and Storytelling

Telling stories about public health is notoriously hard to do, since public health focuses on prevention. So how do you tell an interesting story about something that didn’t happen? Master of Public Health Program Director Lise Saffran talks about the compelling public health stories hiding in plain sight, including the story of an Afghan doctor who hopes to improve the health of Afghanistan–by way of Missouri.
